German Press Claims Europe May Consider Turkish YILDIRIMHAN Missile

According to Germany-based outlet Die Welt, a claim has been made regarding Turkiye’s newly developed YILDIRIMHAN missile, which has a range of 6,000 km and was introduced in recent days.

Welt wrote that the purchase of this missile is on the agenda for Germany and the European Union. The suspension of the United States’s Tomahawk missile plan in Germany increases the likelihood that Germany, which maintains close relations, may purchase this missile from Turkiye.

It also reported the possibility that alongside YILDIRIMHAN, the acquisition of TAYFUN BLOK-4 could also take place.

Germany, which aims to strengthen its defense systems as soon as possible against Russia, seeking to purchase these missiles from Turkiye could also lead to disagreements within Europe.
